A Gentle Place to Begin

Understanding Yourself and Your Sleep Through a Nervous System Lens

Sometimes we notice the anxiety, racing thoughts, exhaustion, withdrawal, or difficulty sleeping — but we do not always understand what may be happening underneath it.

When we begin looking through a nervous system lens, many of our reactions can start to make more sense.

This call is an invitation to understand your nervous system with more curiosity, recognize how it may be influencing your sleep, and begin exploring what support could feel helpful.

You do not need to know the nervous system language before joining us. We will begin with everyday experience and take it one gentle step at a time.
During the Call

What We’ll Explore Together

We’ll explore the nervous system in simple, everyday language so you can begin recognizing your own patterns with more understanding and less judgment.

🧠

Understand

Learn about the three main nervous system states — ventral, sympathetic, and dorsal — and how each may appear in supportive, protective, or survival expressions.

Connect

Begin recognizing how your nervous system communicates through your body, emotions, energy, relationships, and sleep.

🤲

Support

Explore gentle ways to meet different nervous system states, including reflection, orienting, and a guided EFT tapping practice.

You do not need to identify every state perfectly. We are beginning by noticing what is familiar and becoming curious about what your nervous system may need.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Carol

I know how confusing it can feel when your body seems activated, exhausted, withdrawn, or unable to settle — especially when sleep begins to feel harder too.

Over the years, I’ve learned that our reactions begin to make more sense when we understand them through the nervous system rather than seeing them as something we should be able to control.

These Monthly Integration Calls are designed to be a calm and supportive space where nervous system concepts are made simple, practical, and connected to real life.

During this call, I’ll help you begin recognizing how ventral, sympathetic, and dorsal states may show up in you — and how you can meet those states with more curiosity, compassion, and support.

You do not need to understand everything before you arrive. You are simply invited to begin where you are.

Big hug,
Carol

The state of the nervous system can influence how easy or difficult it feels to settle, let go of alertness, stay asleep, or feel restored by rest. During the call, we will explore these connections without treating sleep as something you have to force or get right.
