The Power of Orienting and Building Your Resources
I am so excited that you decided to join us this month for support on your journey to improve the quality of your sleep.
Let's begin!
The first step in this program is to grow your awareness around what is getting in the way of your sleep. Not an easy task when you are sleep-deprived, especially with an overwhelming amount of information and advice to sift through on the internet.
In my own experience and when working with clients I have found that no matter what the initial cause of a sleep problem, a dysregulated nervous system keeps the problem alive. So that's where we begin, by exploring ways to regulate your nervous system.
In this first month, we are going to focus on two things:

Building a list of supportive resources to help calm your nervous system.

Learning how to orient to safety cues in your external environment.
I know, we all want to get in there right away and fix the problem, but unfortunately that is not the solution!
Quick fixes don't work long-term and I want you to have results that last. My first job is to teach you how to expand and grow the capacity of your nervous system so that you can safely and easily manage the stress of your daily life. Once you do this, sleep becomes easy, exactly like it’s meant to be. We are all biologically wired for sleep.
This first step of growing capacity in your nervous system is important and life-changing, not just for your sleep but in every area of your life. If you apply these two concepts in your daily life, you will notice yourself becoming calmer and able to deal with everyday stressors more easily.
I am so looking forward to guiding you on this journey. It's completely transformed my own life and I know it's possible for everyone!

Your additional resources for the month will be available on September 13th.
In this training video, we will start creating awareness about what resources are and why it’s important to be aware of which resources you use daily. This awareness will allow you to be more present with the supportive resources you have in your environment that are helpful in regulating your nervous system.

By adding the orienting technique to your daily life, you can teach your nervous system to identify cues of safety. When your nervous system re-learns how to notice and focus on the safety around you, calm can return and with it your chances of falling asleep and staying asleep increase drastically.
